Five years ago, I started a one-woman PR agency built on my passion for bringing people together around art, culture, and community.
I love this work because I love what my clients do. But more than that, I love seeing others learn about the amazing work that makes San Francisco so incredible. I see my job as a publicist as the connector that brings it all together.
So now, we’re Assembly Public Relations. A name that better reflects what I’ve been doing throughout my whole career, and the ethos for how we’ll continue to work: crafting meaningful stories and bringing people together.

Mid-Market is front and center in the @sfchronicle today!
This neighborhood's story is unique: it isn't a story of tech coming back. Mid-Market is a comedy club, a music venue, a food hall, a sewing studio, five theaters, and 700 founders at Frontier Tower all on the same stretch of Market Street.
"All the bones are here," said Fernando Pujals, MMBAF Executive Director
The @sanfranciscospca is turning 158 this weekend, and they're celebrating with a free block party in the Mission on Saturday, April 18, with live music, adoptable animals, and a dog-and-owner look-alike contest.
Full story in @sfexaminer .
@zulu.heru built Whispers of Waste from 5,000 pounds of reclaimed industrial scrap. It's his rendition of a traditional mask worn by the Senufo tribe of the Ivory Coast.
Now, the piece stands at India Basin Waterfront Park as part of @bigartloop , one block from where he's been building things all along @boxshopsf .
More than 100 cats arrived at the @sanfranciscospca on Monday from @straycatalliance in LA! They arrived in a brand new truck designed to keep cats and dogs comfortable as they travel to San Francisco where they can find their forever home. This Saturday, folks will have the opportunity to “name your price” on adoption fees, during the SF SPCA Birthday Block party.
@tenderloinmuseum is making history impossible to ignore by putting people inside it.
@comptonscafeteriariot tells the story of the 1966 uprising that predated Stonewall by three years. Created by trans activists Collette LeGrande and Donna Personna, and playwright Mark Nasser, it puts seventy people inside a recreated diner, serves them pancakes, and lets that history play out around them.
@forbes just ran the story. Reporter Chadd Scott sat down with Collette to talk about why this show matters right now.
158 years of caring for San Francisco’s animals and @sanfranciscospca is celebrating with a block party.
Saturday, April 18th on Alabama Street in the Mission.
Free admission, adoptable animals from SF SPCA (name-your-price adoption fees) as well as @sfanimalcareandcontro , and @muttvillesf . There will be live entertainment, local vendors, and a Paws and People Look-Alike contest that will be THE event of the season.
Five shows in the last few weeks. Three in the Bay, two in New York (that I squeezed in between work meetings!).
THE MONSTERS at Berkeley Rep left me in tears.
PARANORMAL ACTIVITY at ACT shattered box office records and deserves all the praise.
COLD WAR CHIOR PRACTICE at MCC was absurd in all the best ways.
John Lithgow in GIANT is a masterclass… the kind of performance you think about for weeks.
And Monty Python’s SPAMALOT was pure joy.
Three stories worth your attention this week. 🗞️
@zulu.heru built Whispers of Waste from scrap metal and industrial remnants in his own Bayview studio — a 13-foot ancestral mask rooted in the traditions of the Senufo people, installed by @bigartloop for the community that selected it. @vallejotimesherald got the story behind the builders.
@americantheatremag zoomed out on the Compton’s Cafeteria Riot — and @tenderloinmuseum ’s immersive production @comptonscafeteriariot is one of two shows nationally being named as the reason this SF history feels urgent right now.
And @sanfranciscospca ’s dogs made it to @ktvu2 for National Puppy Day, because of course they did.
Because every puppy deserves a PR team.
It’s officially the CUTEST day of the year. Happy National Puppy Day to all! These two pups are available at @sanfranciscospca
