If you know me, you know I love giving everything a really good crack! I’ve always been a bit of a thrill seeker and love stepping outside my comfort zone. I like to think I’m a bit of an all rounder, so diving into the world of horses and polo has felt so exciting to me.
Right now I’m taking riding lessons alongside my polo training, learning everything right from the very beginning while mixing in the polo skills I’ve picked up over the past few months. Every lesson is teaching me something new — from confidence and control to understanding the horses and fine tuning the little details.
I’m actually writing this the day after yesterday’s lesson and I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever been so sore 😆 Safe to say yesterday humbled me very quickly hahaha. But honestly, that’s part of why I love it — always learning, always improving.
So much respect for this sport and the people behind it. Grateful to be embracing the process one ride at a time. Can’t wait to step it up a notch ! Ash Xxx
