Ashlee Ip (b. 1988) @ashleewtip is a Hong Kong-based painter whose works explore the interplay between constraint and growth. In her ongoing artistic exploration, she draws from both personal experience and broader psychological states to create works that navigate the delicate space between emotion and form, instinct and structure. Her paintings combine figurative and abstract elements, forming compositions of swirling, flowing shapes that reflect interior landscapes such as feelings, tensions, and impulses that resist clear articulation. Featuring the works of five artists from Hong Kong, Korea and the UK: Ashlee Ip, Heyse Ip, Jeremy Ip, Chino Ng and Ido Park, the exhibition explores the theme of space and time in-between. It invites viewers to discover the subtle thresholds where transformation and transition reside, immersing them in a realm where light and shadow intertwine.
