Hi beautiful humans. So many new faces on here recently so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. (*nipple artists own 😏)
I am an avid reader. I love cooking. I hate baking. I have about 2 half written novels floating around on my laptop that I will one day finish. I couldn’t live without butter. I will stand by the fact that shit block cheese tastes better cut with a serrated knife. I love white faced herons and curry for breakfast. I am a runner now but at school I wagged PE. I play very average guitar. My late diagnosis as ADHD/Autistic has changed my life and I love talking to other women about the strength, power and relief that can be found in a diagnosis.
My hubby Ben and I are partners in the @santelmomelbourne restaurant group, he runs 5 venues in Melbourne. We met working at a cafe in Ballarat and it was absolutely not love at first sight 😝 I got very accidentally pregnant at 22, 8 months into our relationship and now 17 years (and a lot of work) later, we’re best friends (I love you Woody) We have Goldie, 8 and Otis who is 15, who we call our housemate. Our kitchen table is the most important place in our house. It’s for playing cards and drawing, making pasta, eating Comte and drinking bottles of wine with friends.
In a past life I toured in commercial musical theatre (last slide for proof 😝) Otis grew up on tour in hotels and we built him bedrooms out of huggies boxes. I made friends who are family and found out a million things about myself…
I make theatre for young people with the most special group of humans and it is the best job in the whole world. It means I tour less and use the creative part of my brain more.
I am a movement director, singer, actor, yoga teacher, mermaid, choreographer to comedians, devisor and creative cheerleader. Dogs are fine but I LOVE cows. I am obsessed with libraries. I try to be a good friend. I love going out for a solo dinner at a fancy restaurant with a good book.

So grateful to start most of my mornings with you Mumma. It’s not lost on me how crazy special that is. Thank you for the absolute joy you bring to all of us in the water and on the track and for leading the way for what mumming looks like for me. I love how you have all your Mermaid kids now too. We’re all the luckiest. 🥹💫

Movement coaching with this years theatre cohort @oxygen_college Creative mentoring/rehearsal room problem solving fun times on an exciting new solo work by @hello.baulchie at @geelongartscentre All my regular private singing students AND the start of developing an exciting new show with my fave strange siblings @nategilkescreative & @jolyon_james (This one is going to be EPIC)
The more I make and play the more space I have to make and play. It’s pretty wonderful.
Oh. And you want to come and dance with me I’m taking an open musical theatre class at @stageartsgeelong next Wednesday night and I’m pretty sure it’ll be the most fun.
