On October 5th 2024 Asher and I got married! It was by far the happiest day of our lives! We invited our dearest friends and family to take an adventure out to West Texas to witness our nuptials under the big blue sky. @vicmoyers and @kimngoknows officiated the ceremony - which was beyond magical. I nearly levitated after our first kiss! My sister-in-law Cristina made my beautiful bouquet. Asher gifted me a string of pearls from Tiffany’s - a total dream. The most special piece I wore was the veil my mother wore in 1979. The joyous day turned into a cosmic night at Rancho Estrella where we enjoyed a feast roasted by @easywindmarfa and danced the night away with tunes from @ladychanticleer under a Scorpio moon 🌙 Thanks to all of our friends and family who came to support and celebrate us. A huge thank you to the community of Marfa for welcoming us with open arms and helping make our wildest dreams come true. @fluxxbucks you are awesome! Engaged!!! On February 5, 2023 as the moon became full, I asked @spookyselina to marry me, with a ring we chose together, and a heart exploding with love. A few weeks before I looked at her in the eyes and I told her: “I missed you. My whole life, I never knew it until we met. I missed you for my whole life”. The joy you bring me and the love we share is effortless and cosmic. Here’s to you my Scorpio Queen! My birthday twin! And, here’s to a lifetime of us. November 9th forever.
India felt like a moment ago. But it’s been more than a month. This was a trip full of friends, food!, experience and lots and lots of love. It was so special to celebrate the wedding of the great @guneetmonga + @whosunnykapoor and then being whisked off by life to watch @adam_linzey and #Utts make an indie film in a place neither of us had been. @spookyselina though, we had the Stupas, hidden in the jungle and overlooking an old river, surrounded by monkeys and an ancient painting of Buddha… we shared something indescribable there. The one common thing we found, everywhere we went, was a friend saying welcome home. And we were.

My mom came to set in ATL while we were shooting @justmercyfilm and she basically took over as Set Mom. Our family (crew) there took such great care of her- I’m real grateful for that. Shout to @joycretton for lacing her w the Aloha Friday gear. She would want me to remind y’all to say a prayer for Ahmaud Arbery’s mother on what is probably a really hard day for her- Let’s all keep her in mind today.
His name was Ahmaud Arbery. He was lynched in Georgia in 2020. IN 2020. This can not stand. Make your voice heard. Use your means and your privilege. White Supremacy must be challenged wherever it shows its face.

Congrats to the GOAT @iamjamiefoxx on his @sagawards nomination for his portrayal of Mr. Walter “Johnny D” McMillian in our @justmercyfilm - Jamie is not only an incredibly committed performer but also an incredibly thoughtful and kind human. He gave so much of himself to the role and to the film, we are forever humbled. I hope Mr. McMillian knows his name is far from forgotten.
