I figure it's best to keep this pinned at my page for a while. My previous tactics weren't working much😅, soooo I'l leave this here + explain. Its been 4+ years, so it's directed to everyone for the future not one specific person🌟
An 'Ashanti doll' is a fertility doll originating in Ghana 😍 I am trying to (barely I know lol) separate my name from that as Ashantidoll.
Ya know, I was feeling like a butthole for posting this monthly and saying it a bunch ahead of time, but like....idc ya know, our names are meaningful, they are our identifiers no matter how big or small or silly. We all know it matters. You wouldn't get Beyoncé's name wrong or your fav performer 🌟 we are human so no coldness comes from this, it's fixable.
I just struggle with some of the ways I will see a European name, a completely made up name, two names combined, names with multiple vowels, all spelled correctly...but not mine.🫠😆 again..small to some but big to me bc my whole life people have called me Ashantay when my name clearly ends with an i. 🤨
So, without a doubt, I am 100% more sensitive about my name and others' names, whether real or stage. Thanks to the people throughout my life who have corrected people on my name😆 literally from elementary to this very day. Also if I get your name wrong,CORRECT ME right away cause I can fumble a name myself 🫠
