In the end, we do this for ourselves, yearning to express our anger, our fear, our love and hate and as loud as we can. But what is expression, without an audience? Without you, there is no show. Your shouting, your cheers, your fists held high... you are just as much a part of the show as the freaks on stage. Together, we create something bigger than ourselves; something greater than the whole of its parts. In the end, you make our day. You are part of ourselves.
Last night's show could best be described as "eclectic," with four bands whose styles ranged from surf rock, to emo, grunge, and good ol' skate punk. The energy raw. The styles diverse. The crowd, moved.
Thank you @924gilmanstreet for hosting such joy. Thank you @angeltortured_productions for orchestrating such madness. And thank you to every single person who showed up to support real human experience.
