48 hours in Venice with Zeynep 🤍 @artsconnected The 61st Biennale opens, and we wouldn’t miss it. From a vaporetto ride down the Grand Canal to the Il Gesto banquet by JR at Ca’ da Mosto, from the Arsenale’s textile wonders to a quiet Gritti dinner, Venice in opening week is a city that rewards those who move fast and look slowly. Water-taxi mornings · La Biennale Arte 2026 · JR’s Il Gesto at The Venice Venice Hotel · Dries Van Noten at Palazzo Pisani · Pierre Huyghe at Punta della Dogana · Diaghilev at Ca’ Foscari · and a Gritti table that always feels like coming home.

Arts Connected artist in residence Rachel Rossin’s work has been acquired by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York (@guggenhiem ). Rachel’s relationship with the Guggenheim is long-established, with her multidisciplinary display transforming the Guggenheim’s rotunda in April 2024. This immersive display, supported by the LG Guggenheim Art and Technology Initiative, set the scene for the Young Collectors Council (YCC) Party. ‘Scry Glass III’ presents a silent, nine-minute colour video displayed on a round LED display. The work invites the viewer into the digital world created by Rachel behind the convex glass. Image 2 & 4: Installation view Rachel Rossin’s presentation for the Young Collectors Council (YCC) Party. Le Dîner des Dieux was a special evening at AHAMA, featuring a powerful live artwork by the talented @tiffanybouelle Last night, we had the pleasure of introducing this remarkable French-Japanese artist to create a live piece for us. Trained in traditional Japanese calligraphy by her grandfather, she now reinterprets that heritage through modern tools, giving her work a unique, natural contemporary texture.

Heavy Petals (حدد) by Raya Kassisieh, commissioned by @biennale_sa . "Heavy Petals" reimagines memories of Claudette, the artist’s grandmother, through a garden of forged steel roses. Inspired by her grandmother’s photo archive, the title draws on the etymology of ḥadad (حدد)—referencing ḥadid (steel), ḥaddad (blacksmith), and mourning (ḥidad). The sculpture transforms grief into a timeless tribute, with each delicate rose reflecting themes of desolation and nostalgia, evoking “the ruins” or “remnants” (Al-Atlal).

We were happy to visit the inaugural exhibition, ‘A New Way of Seeing,’ at the Jaipur Centre for Art, launched by @pachojaipur and @noellekadar . This show features Indian and international artists exploring the interplay between heritage and contemporary art. This is particularly significant as Jaipur has always been deeply linked to its rich heritage, and @pachojaipur is actively bringing this heritage forward by fostering such innovative collaborations between tradition and contemporary art. By showcasing how artists manipulate images and materials to challenge and captivate viewers, the exhibition invites us to reconsider how we see and understand the world, bridging the past with the present in a truly inspiring way.

The Genesis Exhibition: 'Walk the House' by the contemporary artist, Do Ho Suh, will be on view through May 27, 2025 at Tate Modern, London. It’s one of the must-see exhibitions held in 2025 that you won’t want to miss! It presents the breadth and depth of Suh’s unique practice over the last three decades, spanning Seoul, New York, and London — the three cities he has called home, and featuring new site-specific works on display for the first time.
