Festival mode: activated 🎪🫧🌳 Aristotle used a specific word to describe the moment something becomes fully what it already is: Entelecheia. It’s the idea that, like a seed, we already hold the map to everything we are meant to become. What if becoming isn’t about adding more to ourselves, but about removing what isn’t true? Like the figure Michelangelo saw waiting inside the marble, perhaps growing as humans is simply the act of listening for what was always there. What do you think? 🤔 On Saturday, 23rd May, we gather in Merrion Square Park for a special edition of Arts Bubbles as part of the @ilfdublin . Expect the usual cozy chaos —a forest full of art forms colliding through sounds, words, colours, and movement. We can’t wait for you to meet the incredible artists of the night. Secret lineup 🤫🥹 Will you join us in our forest of arts, artsy strangers? 📍Merrion Square Park, Dublin 🗓️Saturday, 23rd May | 7:30 PM – 10:30 PM 🎟️Tickets via link in bio (ILFDublin.com) As usual, bring your coolest socks 🧦👀 Artwork: The Equatorial Jungle (1909), Henri Rousseau.

Look mum, we made the newspaper 🥹📰 What a wild ride it’s been — Arts Bubbles breathes because so many beautiful humans keep showing up: with courage, with art, with curiosity, with openness. This piece is for everyone who has shaped this growing community that feels like home. Thank you for turning cosy rooms into worlds where the arts become little revolutions for the soul. Grateful to @roemcdermott for seeing us and telling our story ♡ Full article in The Irish Times (link in bio). We’re just getting started, artsy strangers 🫧

Two years of breathing arts and community together 🫶🏼🫧✨ Plato had this idea that the whole cosmos is one living, breathing being held together by an invisible soul—the Anima Mundi. We spent our 2nd anniversary leaning into that “shared breath,” reminding ourselves that we aren’t just strangers in a room, but a tribe co-creating something bigger than us. The night felt like a cosmic collision of different art forms finding a dialogue. Big love to the legendary artists who are by now dear friends and vital parts of the core Arts Bubbles family: 📖 Poetry: @nomanticz , @gerard_devine_poetry 🎨 Painting: @geraldine_carton , @decoy_art 💃🏻 Dancing: @amalie_stitz 🎶 Music: @mollydonnery , @matildelottimusic , @seancollinsmusic , @lukeclerkin 📽️ Videography: @mikevanrose 📸 Photography: @uttariyo and @_phwild Zooming out, it’s wild to think that two years ago this was just an idea. Now we are a big family made of love and arts, home to unbelievably cool human beings we never thought to meet and gather under one roof. No stages, no hierarchies—just us, sitting on the floor in our favorite socks. In these two years, we’ve welcomed hundreds of artists and souls from over 60 nationalities. This is our space to experiment, explore new perspectives, and get comfortable with being vulnerable. Behind every Arts Bubble stands a constellation of people working beneath the surface — holding the space and shaping the experience. Big love to the crew who made Bubble #19 happen: @just_mo794 , @omaima.alsalmi , @sdelahoz , @polinapchelkina_ , @_yasingunes , @kishanndave @moonmalade , @kishanndave , @thanh.hereee , @carlottagirelli , @mizunoxd , @reneocampo15 ✨ As our artists of the night beautifully put together in their final collective performance… “We’re all branches underneath one sun we grow together till our day is done” Indeed, Arts Bubbles will always be a welcoming artsy forest where we can all breathe in 🌳 Thanks everyone for being the heartbeat of all this 🫶🏼 We’re just getting started, artsy strangers 🫧👀 Big love, Matteo

In a world that demands we fly like Icarus towards the sun, we chose to find the balance between the sky and the land, exploring the “myth” of what it means to truly belong. Arts Bubble #18 - “Roots” was truly magical. Through music, spoken word and visual arts, we collectively untangled our roots and shared the many beautiful ways we stay grounded. To the artists who are now family: thank you for sharing your talent and vulnerability with us. And to the community that made it happen: thank you for showing up and supporting the arts 🌱☀️✨ 📸 photos by @uttariyo

There’s something about Brad that feels like a glitch in the atmosphere. His voice sounds like it was exported from a much kinder planet than this one. Whatever galaxy he’s from, we’re officially scouting for property there 🪐🌌 At Arts Bubble #18, “Roots” for him meant looking at self-acceptance without limits. He walked us into the deepest, quietest corners of his soul, and the crazy part was realizing that once we got there, we were actually looking at ourselves, too. And then came “Demons,” with a raw energy and depth that will be vibrating in our hearts long after the lights are turned off 🫶🏼 Go find “Demons” (and all of his songs) wherever you stream music. Trust us artsy strangers, your soul needs this 🥹 Brad, welcoming you into the family felt so natural and warm. Thanks for bringing your magic to us 🙌🏻🫧 📽️ video by the greatest @mikevanrose

The second Toshín steps into the circle, the whole room lights up like a fire. She came back to us for Arts Bubble #18: “Roots,” and honestly, she just sparked something deep in every single one of us. With her electric and passionate soul, she has this way of pulling everyone into a mystic trip that hits every emotion you can imagine. We love her because she stands there as such a powerful artist, woman, and dreamer, reminding us why it’s so important to believe in ourselves and fight for what matters. Her voice is as deep and beautiful as her soul, and having her back with us felt like a genuine treat for our artsy souls 🥹🥰 And her stage presence? We’re still catching our breath... just wow. 🔥 We’re so grateful to have this absolute rockstar in the Arts Bubble family. If you haven’t yet, go check her music out, friends—you really need a Toshín in your life 🫶🏼 📽️ Video by @mikevanrose 📸 Post cover photo by @uttariyo

Thinking back to February and Arts Bubble #18—having Aimee Carty at her keyboard really did feel like a shared secret between friends. Her voice on those mellow notes was just... ethereal. 🎹✨ Aimee brought us into her experience of the “Roots” theme—tracing the threads of family and the evolution of as a human and an artist, to her absolute hit “2 days into college,” capturing the tough days of starting university and adjusting to the independence and a different pace of life 🌸 Being there felt like a warm hug for us all. A jump into vulnerability and a gentle reminder that we shall dare to dream and we can all be artists, whatever that ends up looking like for us 🪐 “Try not to forget You choose who you are Even if nobody else knows yet Grab your light Let it fly Let it shine Let it grow If you don’t try then you might never know” …As she sings in her song “Painter.” 🎨 Big love, Aimee. Thanks reminding us to just pick up the courage and see what happens. 🌟 🎥 Video by @mikevanrose 📸 Post cover photo by @uttariyo

The moment we always love the most: diverse art forms and artists from different backgrounds, strangers until a few hours before, suddenly finding a common soil. All the artists of the night coming together, listening, and finding a dialogue that makes us connect, laugh, and think deeper. 🌿 At Arts Bubble 18, these incredible artists ended up co-creating an absolute banger around a spoken word piece. “Checking out your girlfriend” got stuck in our heads and hearts. Evidence that when the roots are deep, the play is infinite. 🌀🎤 So beautiful 🫶🏼🫧 📽️ video by @mikevanrose 📸 post cover photo by @uttariyo

A tsunami of positive energy. A pulse of Irishness. A force of family 🌊💚 At Arts Bubble #18 — “Roots” — Burnchurch really embodied the theme. We could feel it all at once: the land, the language, the family… carried through music that made us wanna dance, but also pause and reflect. Full of depth, but still light on its feet. There’s something so special in how they blend ancient echoes with a bold, modern sound — Irish music with samba vibes? Somehow, they make it work effortlessly. From busking on the streets of Kilkenny to bigger stages, they’re clearly on a journey… and it feels like they’re only getting started. We’re already huge fans and can’t wait to see how high they’ll fly — while staying true to their roots 🌿🔥 Big love guys, keep rocking it! ⚡️ 🎥 video by the maestro @mikevanrose 📸 cover by the great @uttariyo

For our 18th Arts Bubble, we gathered to explore the theme “Roots: The Wisdom of Gravity.” It was a night of grounding, reflection, and quiet return — held through music, poetry, and visual arts 🌱✨ Bamboo spends years growing in the dark, underground. Nothing visible. Only once its roots are strong enough does it rise — growing nearly a meter a day, reaching up to 20 meters tall in just a few weeks. But what looks like rapid growth is the result of deep, invisible grounding. At Arts Bubble #18, we explored simple yet deep questions: How high may we rise before we forget where we come from? What does it mean to stay grounded? Through sounds, words, and colour, we reflected on roots not only as origin, but as what keeps us in balance — the unseen structures that hold us when everything else moves. Here are the incredible artists who brought this theme to life: 🎶 Music by @burnchurchmusic , @aimee.carty_music , @bradheidii , @toshin_music 📖 Poetry by @miseciara 🎨 Visual arts by @samaralsul , @ishmaelclaxtonphotos 📸 Photography by @uttariyo 📽️ Videography by @mikevanrose 🌱 Curated and hosted by @matteinofico Behind every Arts Bubble stands a constellation of people working beneath the surface — holding the space, shaping the experience, making the invisible visible 💫 Huge thanks to this beautiful team: @reneocampo15 , @mizunoxd , @just_mo794 @omaima.alsalmi , @sdelahoz , @polinapchelkina_ , @paolo271063 and Emma 🫶🏼🫧🌸 Until the next gathering, artsy strangers 👀 May we all grow like bamboo: patient in the dark, rooted in what matters, and rising in balance. ✨🫧 Big love, Matteo

Do you have the courage to completely stop your motion and feel what stillness has for you? What actions make us feel human — still? When do the lines between self, collectivity, and nature begin to blur? These and many more questions quietly surfaced in our bodies and minds at Arts Bubble #17 — “Human, Still”, when Martha Tribe brought something that felt less like a performance and more like a shared unfolding — a gentle invitation to experience space not as something fixed, but as something we create together through movement. Starting on one side of the room and slowly moving across it, Martha shifted the atmosphere without saying a word. No instructions, no clear beginning or end — just presence and shared intuition. The line between audience and performer didn’t just blur — it disappeared. The space became alive, shaped moment by moments collective sensing. Stillness held as much intensity as motion. Movement became a language we all shared. For a while, it didn’t feel like watching anymore. It felt like being part of something — something subtle, something human. And maybe that was the point: to remind us that being human isn’t something we do alone, but something we continuously shape together. Thanks Martha, a shared moment we won’t forget 🫶🏼🫧🌟 — 📽️ Video by the maestro @mikevanrose 📸 Post cover photo by the talented @rawdublin #ArtsBubbles
