We’d love to think of a caption good enough to accompany these pictures but honestly, they speak for themselves…
Cracking work yesterday Degree 1’s 🙌
Students from across our Sixth Form and Degree are in rehearsals for the MK Hip Hop Festival which is taking place on Sunday 24th May. The event is commissioned by @motusdancemk with the piece created by @zecluhana 🙌
Huge congratulations to first year degree student Harry Hudson who performed in Belted! at The Other Palace last weekend 👏
Super proud of you Harry!
A huge good luck to Sixth Form student Sophie Powell, who’s performing in today’s Semi-Final of West End Calling! 🙌
West End Calling is a musical theatre competition for performers aged 8–21, featuring auditions, heats, semi-finals and a final, with industry professionals, including agents and casting directors, scouting talent throughout.
Finalists go on to perform in a West End theatre, with prizes including opportunities at events like West End Live and West End Does Christmas, as well as scholarships and professional headshots.
Good luck Sophie! ⚡️

Shall we talk about drama school training? đź‘€
You’re about to give 3 years of your life to something you love - so similar to ultra-processed foods, do you actually know what’s inside the drama school you’re auditioning for?
How many students are in your year group? How do you get noticed? How often is that individual feedback?
Is there an inconsistent flavour? Are the core staff teaching you regularly?
And do they put brand first, and student second?
These are all questions to keep in mind when choosing your drama school. Great training relies on master practitioners knowing you and what you need to really transform in those 3 years.
Check the ingredients. Artists are never mass produced.
