Yesterday I curated the 2nd installment of the TAMA Sundays Live Painting Series in collaboration with @tamabedstuy and @makemanifestbk in BedStuy Brooklyn. The vibes were indescribable. This round featured four Black male artists: @dapodavinci , @robertprovilus , @spacejam_x , and myself. During the artist talk for my solo exhibition The Forces I had the great honor of having seasoned Haitian artists, spiritual practitioners and cultural leaders Deenps "Gran Bwa" Bazile @deenpsbazile , Makini Armand @makiniarmand , and Mahalia Stines @atelier_mahalia_stines as well as Grenadian artist, filmmaker, writer and curator Billy Gerard Frank @billygerardfrank with curator Jesse Bandler Firestone @heavymetalcurator as the moderator. The talk was held Tuesday, March 31 at EFA Gallery @efastudios .
