She was troubled & overcome by demons and every day I’ve been holding back an angry tantrum, wanting to chase them down wherever else they are in the world and end their deception for good. When I was a little kid I used to draw demons and things with suicidal themes a lot. My mom would be horrified and ask me “why can’t you just draw flowers?!!”. Maybe the demons hopped out of my little kid drawings and into her head. But now that she’s gone, it’s ironic that all I draw these days is flowers. 🌺 my mom has always been my biggest supporter and an important part of my work and I think she always will be.. thank you mom
