It's been quite a week of programming at Art Impact Project! And our event was the perfect ending to the week! The atmosphere the attendees created at the first of the Prism events, ART:BRAIN Connection, was amazing! We will be sharing more about the event later, as well as the two upcoming events in the series, but all of us at Art Impact Project wanted to give a special thank you to our hosts and partner, Brushwood Center, our speaker, @joalidasmit , our Prism series sponsors @foreveromyoga Lake Forest and @msllccpas , and all our sponsors and guests that helped support our mission. And thank you to Heidi Torres Smith for the wonderful pictures! Have a great weekend and enjoy some art!
We completed our Quill project with the youth at Depke Juvenile this week. When we asked them to share their feelings about the project one student answered "It made me feel a lot better and more relaxed and chill." We're so happy to see young people embracing art making as a tool to better health!
There are still a few tickets left! Come support Art Impact Project tonight! There is no better way to understand our mission than getting to feel the magic of art making for yourself! #emotionalwellness #CreativeExpression
The residents of @nicasabehavioralhealth Bridge House had a very imaginative and creative time with our new Recycled Birds project. It really got the group thinking about other items that can be upcycled into art! #recycled #birds #birdart
