@alanagraph knew that she'd be DIYing her website at first, but might want to do a ✨custom✨ one in the future. So we used the last little bit of our Design Intensive to create the top of a homepage design to give her a starting point for a future site and some inspiration for the DIY that she would be taking on 💪 If you're wanting a website that truly reflects your brand, product, or service, and does some of the heavy lifting for you, send me a DM and let's talk ideas! ❤️ And swipe to see some of the inspo behind Alana's brand identity 👉

Art directing and styling this Samsung promo video featuring @marinawphoto (back in early 2021) was such a great experience! It was the largest scale production (and longest shoot day) I had worked on at that point, but don't worry, @shotatcolorpop has it beat 🤪 Oh! And the video won an award, so that's cool. Collaborators: Bustle Digital Group, Brooke James (director), Tim Wu (producer), @marinawphoto (talent), @kasemire.dieumerci (model), Noam Harary (production coordinator), Julianna Morris (studio coordinator), Michael Ori (director of photography), Dru Williams (1st assistant camera), Andy Baker (2nd assistant camera), Pamela Bloom (gaffer), Lydia Brandscomb (sound mixer), @amyjomua (makeup)

A little stop motion cutie for my fave @normal.club ice cream showcasing their delicious flavor combos 🥥🍫🍦 Normal had such a wonderful aesthetic already, so playing around with what they had already established was a dream! Swipe to see behind the scenes 👉

Story templates for photographer @alanagraph ! This is just a selection of the 24 variations we were able to do. And we were able to save them to Canva for easy text and image swapping 🙌 Also, Alana had the genius idea of designing a mini pricing sheet that she can keep as an image on her phone and shoot it out to any inquiries... a great example of smart design that does work for you 🤓 Swipe to see each of these in more detail 👉 And let me know if you want to explore how you can use design to make your life easier ❤️

Logo suite for @mariadanielamartinezd ! Maria Daniela creates vibrant, colorful, personality filled content for dog-focused brands and dog moms... so she's basically my dream client. 🐕 🦮🐕‍🦺🐩 But she didn't want her branding to implement dog related elements for fear of it looking too kitschy to align with the dream brands she aims to work with. So we looked at high-fashion branding for inspiration instead, and then infused Daniela's quirky style with an off-beat color palette and a fun accent font. Swipe through to see the thought process behind each piece of her logo suite 👉 And if you feel ready for elevated brand, web, or packaging design that is built with your goals in mind, send me a DM and let's talk! ❤️

Styled product photos for @mochi_kids ! 🥟🍣🍜 Swipe to see each photo before and after retouching... some only need a little (like the second photo), but most of the time they need a ton to get to the end result 😅

When people ask me what I do, I tell them that I do creative work for small, female-focused businesses. That's largely true and I LOVE those businesses, but it wasn't until I started making a list that I realized how many larger businesses that I've had the chance to do creative work for as well! I feel so lucky to have worked with so many wonderful brands, both large and small 🙌⁣ ⁣ #artdirector #graphicdesigner #branddesigner #webdesigner #photostylist #creativedirector #utahproductphotographer #productphotographer #utahgraphicdesigner

I can't believe I haven't shared this project because I love the results so much! There are a lot of pieces, but let's start with this brand mark 🔵🟦🔷 ⁣ ⁣ @alanagraph wanted one of her logos to feature her initials (ABC), and overall wanted the brand identity to be colorful, playful, punchy, and she wanted to integrate some shapes. This could have easily gone very juvenile, but we achieved her goals AND kept it sophisticated by:⁣ ⁣ - Making the first initial (A) is the emphasis of the brand mark and slightly abstracting the B & C into geometric shapes⁣ - Designing in an unexpected color palette that is simple and sophisticated⁣ - Carefully selecting a more grown-up feeling font⁣ ⁣ Swipe to see the inspiration that I used for this mark, and again to see all of the iterations that I played with before we settled on this one 👉⁣ ⁣ And if you're looking to level up your biz with some strategic design work I'd love to talk to you about it! ❤

Raise your hand if you're pro leaving the tree up through January 🙋🏻‍♀️ I need the decor to get me through the bleak mid-winter 🥲 Speaking of Holiday decor, here are some favorites from past @pura Holiday shoots. Styled by me and shot by magician @maggiethomasphoto

I did these photos for @studioramiii a few years ago and now she's shutting her doors and moving onto other things 😢 (which is what reminded me that I still have tons of shots that I want to share lol). She's doing one last sale for the holiday (including all of these zodiac earrings at a major discount), so if you have any earring or zodiac loving friends that you're shopping for (and who of us doesn't?), go support this delightful human ✨

Just a few of the things that have my heart at the moment 💜 In the last year and half I’ve realized how little I create just for fun. It’s always been for a job or school or because someone asked me for a favor. Don’t get me wrong, I’m lucky and happy to do something I love, but any time you’re creating for someone else the pressure takes away some of the magic of the experience. Very slowly I’ve been trying to introduce small, ‘just for fun’ creative things into my life and IT’S SO NICE! Experimenting with no strings is just good for the creative soul. So really this is one of those tiny exercises for me. Creative friends- if you suffer from this, I hope you’ll go out and make something for yourself this week ❤

Wanted to share these logos that I made awhile back for @lexcolemusic ! Lex was about to launch her most recent album Exho and wanted several designs that felt like her and would make for cute merch (product?? count me in) 💜 Make sure you turn your sound on to hear a bit of my favorite song from Exho. Fun fact- Lex is obviously an amazing musician in her own right, AND she sings backup vocals for @postmalone and @thekidlaroi 👏
