Apple Tree by Aurora was my most listned-to song this year 💖 Everything has shifted in 2025. I stepped away from art as my job after 8 years. I'm back in an office now in a way I haven't been since before my children were born. I was unexpectedly hospitalized twice this year, facing mortality in ways I never had before.
I've nurtured bonds of friendship, been nurtured in return, and found my heart amongst found family. My daughter is almost as tall as I am. My son had his first band concert, and I saw his pure joy smiling at me from that stage, despite the world around us all.
I've learned to listen to myself again - to wonder with my inner child, safe and unhindered. I picked four leaf clovers and laughed more than I have since I can remember.
