I set out for a PB todayā¦
and fell just short sadly - I gave everything I had out there today to be honest & I think my hr can attest to that š
My travel to the race start from west to E10 was longer than I was on course but the crowd, energy & connecting with so many others who love this sport made every step worth it.

No one speaks about thisā¦post marathon your body & nervous system is screaming!

Itās been a real help since London Marathon in allowing me to feel normal again & get back to my training.
I canāt wait to race again as I really felt I really struggled in London so letās see how the body holds up & hopefully I can do something special šš½

Itās been really hard for me to process everything that happened yesterdayā¦.
What a special city, running this race made me feel so proud to be from here.
On one hand I feel so accomplished and on the other such shame & defeatā¦everything that couldāve went wrong, did.
Thank you for every ounce of support I received on course but also so many special messages too š«¶š½
No excuses, many lessons learned & consistency will prevail.
What I eat in a day - London Marathon Race Prep š
Here is what my plate is looking like Thursday & Friday aiming for 6-700g of carbs & then the day before (Saturday) will be slightly less at 450g but meals staying the same.
Previously Iāve felt very heavy & so full on race day
(didnāt enjoy that) and prefer this way personally.

I was looking for clips in my camera roll earlier for another ārunning editā & came across this.
watching it back was hard.
it really just shows what you can do when you tell yourself enough is enough.
We all start somewhere & I hope even if 1 person seeās this & has that āitās time to change momentā then I win.
