Artist Spotlight: Ariel Sko✨
Ariel Sko ( @arielsko )is a photographer and visual artist based in Pittsburgh, PA. Her art practice often utilizes old-style alternative photographic processes, such as the cyanotype method.
Ariel’s work invokes a sense of melancholy and reflection. Her imagery explores themes related to the relationship we have with both ourselves and with others; nostalgia for past memories, and how the passage of time alters the perception of our reality.

To love a pet is to know the depths that love can go. And oh did we get to know that depth for 15 years with this queen of sass and side-eye. Elena was pure diva energy through and through. What a true delight it was to grow up with her. Rest easy love bug 🤍🤍🤍

2025 was a cyanotype blue of silly, surprising, sweet, stupid, & struggle. It showed how much is possible when you lean into the challenge of growing.
