I gave all my best @sappyfest photos to @theburninghellband for a post, except this shot of one of Andrew Maizeโs incredible kites.
Itโs hard to describe how much I love Sappy, and this year was an all-timer. I feel so very very lucky to have made so many close friends through attending, and Iโm always thrilled to exist in that communal space with so many cool artists that I donโt really know very well yet. Every year I come home with new favourite bands (this year @mightymightymums ) and newly excited by someoneโs art practice, outfits, jokes, joy, and generosity. Casual nods turn into acquaintances turn into friends turn into trusted collaborators, and (for a while) it soothes the endless anxiety and sadness of living in the world right now. Everything feels very possible, and even likely.
Thank you to @instagraemepatterson@lou_birrd and @stevenlambke for helming the ship this year. Donโt get too burnt out โ we all need it so much. Keep it up!

Tonight is the last night of the ๐ป๐ฐ Euro Tour, and itโs been an incredible and amazing thing. We will be celebrating the final night at @knusthamburg with a @bbislandmusic label showcase night with @swearingatmotorists@thesoundofmoney_music
