Plant life: Another stumper for our biologists, these beautiful plants originate from a planet that became barren due to environmental changes. This planet’s location has since been lost to history after it became irrelevant to the agricultural industry. Shockingly, three of these assumed to be extinct plants began to grow from the walls of Special Spectacle a few years ago, and our team believes that this could indicate the original planet that Special Spectacle originated from.

Sentient Historical Diorama: One of the only times that Special Spectacle has been seen interacting with a so-called “real” museum, this worm and her rider were made as a part of a diorama to commemorate a long concluded planetary war. Docents and visitors at this museum noticed a feeling of extreme sorrow and pain fill their bodies when touching or looking at these two miniatures, as if they had somehow embodied the pain of the conflict despite being objects created long after the war. Despite this impossibility, Special Spectacle appeared and adopted these particularly emotionally sensitive models, who have experienced significantly positive mood changes since leaving their home diorama and entering into therapy.

Sleeping Princess: One of the newer exhibits acquired by the museum, very little is known about this creature except that it appears to be very young. We have not been able to source a planet of origin, or how the museum came to acquire this creature. Our biological science division originally assumed that this creature, dubbed the Sleeping Princess, was in a comatose state, or in some kind of hibernation. They later noticed that the creature would sometimes change positions or make noises when no one was looking, and some nights tiny footprints would appear on the walls and ground. They came to the conclusion that the creature may be shy.

Perpetual Microwaving Meal: While the microwave is a retrofitted Earth device, the real intrigue lies within the meal. On a distant consumerist planet, this meal was a standard selection at any convenience canteen. It was bought, then eaten. The quirk is that the meal grew right back in its original plastic tray, to the confusion of the customer who had just put the meal in one of their stomachs. This meal began its planetary celebrity tour, feeding those who were starving, feeding those who were curious to sample the never ending supply of mediocre frozen food. The meal and its packaging became a media obsession, entering into the film and fashion worlds as a new pop culture phenomenon. After a time, the planet became so sick of seeing and tasting this combination of foods that the planetary council agreed to send the edible artifact to a place with other oddities. Thus, the meal became an exhibit, and the only menu item at Special Spectacle.

Vase with a Face: This curious vase is the current longest resident of Special Spectacle, its presence in the museum tracing back several decades. We believe that this ornate item could possibly be a totem to an ancient deity, originally placed in grand jeweled temples to watch and greet worshippers with an air of mischief. Vase with a Face plays an important role in the ecosystem of Special Spectacle, as it is responsible for the mold-like growths around each exhibit. We believe that these growths are sent via spores released via its vase hole, and that this mold creates a safe atmosphere for each resident, chemically adjusting to each new environment around the universe.
