adulting is just a repetitive cycle of buying groceries every month đ but I will always choose the convenience of getting my groceries delivered by @voila.ca đ
1. Youâre always TIRED.
If your full time job involves talking to people, youâre essentially âbankruptâ by the time you get home. Coming home and trying to be high-energy for a camera when youâve already given your best personality to your coworkers and clients is a mental battle no one talks about. 2. The âDays Offâ Illusion
âDays offâ donât actually exist. Your weekend is just a 48-hour content marathon. You spend your weekends batch-filming and styling shots just to make sure your page always has content going up while youâre back at work on Monday.
3. Editing in the âIn-Betweensâ
Youâve become the master of the âmicro-edit.â Youâre editing clips on the commute, on the toilet đ during your lunch break, and responding to comments in the elevator. Your phoneâs screen time is astronomical because every spare second is a deadline.
4. The Death of âBeing Presentâ
You canât just go to dinner anymore. Youâre subconsciously checking the overhead lighting, framing the table, and wondering if you should have brought your tripod. When your free time is this limited, âunpluggingâ feels like youâre falling behind.
5. Inspiration always hits while youâre at work
Your best, most viral ideas always hit at 9 AM when youâre stuck at work. You write them down with so much excitement, but by the time youâve finished your shift and commuted home, that âcreative sparkâ has been replaced by total physical exhaustion. 6. The âWhyâ That Makes it Worth It
Despite the burnout, there is no feeling like seeing my community actually grow around cookingđ„č One day youâre at work exhausted and the next youâre signing a deal with a brand youâve loved for years or opening a PR package you used to watch others unbox. If youâre balancing both your full time job and content creation, keep going youâre building a bridge to the life you used to only dream about. đ«¶đŸđ„č
