Three years ago today, we wrapped on my first independent feature film. It was shot in 10 days. We were filming long hours in many locations around this city. There were setbacks along the way. I can happily say it will premiere this year, 2024!
I’m nothing without my cast and my crew. This was my first time directing a feature film and had people who believed in the vision to make this happen. Life happened and was making moves in the city but the wait will finally be over.
To my @argyleforestfilms team since Chimney Lakes Elementary to hanging out at the garage late nights talking about movies and dreams, my boys Joshua Stadt, Jeremiah Stadt and Michael Geselbracht finally did it.
Follow Let Me Be Corey @letmebecoreymovie and Argyle Forest Films on all social media platforms for updates. You got a dream, go get it and don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it.

I’ve had the honor to co-direct and edit this music short film “Couples Therapy”, with Jeremy Ryan, that hit a couple of film festivals. I got to work with a great cast and crew. I met him in 2021 and my mind was blown. I gave him the script to my feature film “Let Me Be Corey (@letmebecoreymovie )” and he made music for the whole movie soundtrack based off it.
Jeremy won @folioweekly ’s Best of JAX “Best Hip Hop Artist” and will be on tonight’s “The Neighborhood with Mr. Al Pete (@adi_alpete ) on @wjctjax Radio at 8pm to debuting his new hit song with @johnwes_ .
Please make sure to watch “Couples Therapy” now on his YouTube Page. Make sure to follow him as new music continues to drop.

In Los Angeles for @americanfilmmarket to find a distributor for @argyleforestfilms ’ @letmebecoreymovie . Had a great talk with the star of the film @eric_dooley_ . Hanging out with @kennetic_ceo . Representing JAX!
Selling the film as a throwback 90’s Rom-com (Something About Mary, American Pie, Kevin Smith Films, Judd Apatow films). Brought out the Blockbuster shirt and the @officialtrapperkeeper .
