I’ve had this image tattooed on me for 20+ years. It feels great to bring it into back into the physical world in 3D sculptural form. It’s a city on top of an upside down pyramid. The capstone of the pyramid has no eye and is connected to the pyramid. It meant enough to me that I wanted it on my body forever. To put it simply, to me: It’s a testament to lost knowledge. What does it mean to you?

I have been drawing versions of this character for as long as I can remember. Sometimes with no bottom jaw, sometimes with an eyeball in place of a bottom jaw. The eyeball version will be next.
