Meet the founders of CAVE 13:
Arden DiManno and Fernanda Jurado came together in a time of desperation. The two sought a creative outlet but struggled with the chaos of survival. The creatives discussed a world in which creativity could live simultaneously to their struggle. Filtering the over-romanticized “starving-artist” trope through the guise of free and fun artistry, establishing a resource for artists going through the same experience. Talent is abundant, opportunity is scarce. Opportunity is made.
CAVE13 is for those who are not granted opportunity, for those that are tired of waiting. We exist in a cave. Although one may enter with darkness, the cave is a protector, a provider. The cave consists of a community. Our power echoes. Together we shed the insecurities that prevent artists from achieving their dreams. Come into the cave, shed your worries, and create for yourself.
