2025 taught me that life is both simple and complex, challenging and effortless. Filled with moments of survival and moments of elation and success. It is all the things. 2025 was a year of contradictions: movement and stillness, tenacity and peace, momentum and limbo, joy and sorrow, growth, imperfection, and progress and so much more. A year where many versions of me danced around each other: mama, wife, vocal coach, vocal producer, entrepreneur, friend, daughter, dreamer, singer, artist, human. I am deeply grateful for the highlights: watching Fox grow into an incredible tiny human, coaching at the JUNO Awards, ARC, CMI, working with hundreds of incredible artists prepping them for tour, studio, walking through injuries, one-on-one sessions and through my ROAR app, vocal producing badass humans with some amazing records coming out this year, running a half marathon and parenting beside an incredible human who is healing the parts of me that didn’t have a dad like Foxy does. I am also grateful for the hardships: moments and months of pure survival, and one of the most challenging years for our tiny, wondrous family. Within the contradictions, life happened and is happening and I am so damn grateful for all of it. The chaos and the peace. The two steps forward, followed by another unexpected twist to navigate. The uncertainties and the known truths. 2026 brings a new tiny human, new programs for ROAR, the absolute privilege of walking alongside so many artists and badass humans I love, more time with the people I adore, and continuing to navigate this wild life beside my big love and my little (soon to be two little) loves. Oh, and probably many things I am both completely unprepared for and somehow absolutely exactly prepared and ready for, because life is hilarious and wild and makes no sense… and also all the sense.
