Vintage 1980s British Royal Navy Ventile Windproof Deck Smock 🇬🇧
Sourced directly from the original owner — a Royal Navy submariner who enlisted in 1985.
This smock accompanied him aboard HMS Conqueror from 1987 until its decommissioning in 1990 (Image 5), and continued its service on HMS Turbulent (Image 12), HMS Talent (Image 13), and HMS Torbay (Image 14).
I feel genuinely grateful to have come across a piece like this, not just clothing, but a life lived through it.
Hoping to pass this history on to its next owner.
