Arbeiter Brewing is proud to be a generational immigrant-owned business. Our heritage and stories are the foundation of what drives us to activate our brewery along the Lake Street corridor. For Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we celebrate unity between communities and cultures. This year, we intentionally share with you Hibiscus Tokki for AAPI Month. Hibiscus is used widely in many Asian cultures. For Koreans, the hibiscus symbolizes endurance and survival - qualities that reflect the resilience of the people. Those same qualities brought South Minneapolis together to resist the occupation. We find it important to continue to celebrate the strength of community and hope. Come by and enjoy a Hibiscus Tokki alongside the humans who helped us all weather the storm. Together, we build bridges and resilience.

📣 An important update from Half Pint Co. Hi friends, We’ve been a little quiet this year, and we want to share why. The start of 2026 felt incredibly heavy here in Minneapolis. With the increased ICE presence, violence, and unrest in our own neighborhoods, it didn’t feel possible—or responsible—for us to jump into planning and hosting events the way we normally would. We kept asking ourselves: Is this safe? Is this what our community needs right now? And for a while, we didn’t have clear answers. So we paused. We’ve always said these events were a labor of love—and they truly have been. What started as a way to bring families together and create joyful, inclusive spaces grew into something really special. We were hopeful it could become something fully sustainable, but the emotional, physical, and financial costs—especially in the context of everything happening around us—have made that harder to carry in the same way. Right now, we’re being called to refocus our energy. On our homes. Our kids. Ourselves. Because that’s what allows us to show up for our community in a meaningful way. With all that in mind, Michelle has made the difficult decision to step away for the time being, and while HPC will continue, it will be led by Shelby and will look a little different moving forward. HPC isn’t going away—but it is evolving. What that looks like next is still taking shape. Maybe fewer events. Maybe different kinds of gatherings. Maybe more intentional, slower, smaller moments of connection. Thank you for being here with us—for showing up, for trusting us with your families, for building this community alongside us. Today is the kickoff of our bike night with @furydunord and @brapb.mn ! We have @lachozamn serving up their sushi and tacos and also @sweetridetwincities here for the first time slinging ice cream in their rad side car! It’s April and it’s a little chilly, but the sun is out, and the itch to get together won’t stop us! Arbeiter is a place for community and respect.
