traces of tomorrow ⢠LĂom x Applefish
Stunning ambient vocals meet soothing ambient soundscapes, combining the musical worlds of British-based Applefish (Nik Davies) and Dutch artist LĂom (Anouk Hendriks).
The seed for âtraces of tomorrowâ was planted by Anouk, who captured the first ideas in voice and synth textures. In the spirit of gentle voices, this collaboration was about deep listening and mutual trust. Thereâs a sense of spaciousness in the piece, but also intimacy: layered harmonies, reverberant guitar, and soft atmospheres that carry both the artistsâ fingerprints.
Released as part of gentle voices, vol. 1 - a collaborative project that brings together 20 different women artists and producers from around the world, who are creating music in ambient (and ambient adjacent) spaces, in celebration of International Womenâs Day on Sunday March 8.
