Had a quick jam with my new @mayonesguitars Aquila 30" scale length. 30! Some of the new Tesseract material is in G and my 27" guitars weren't cutting it in terms of intonation and tuning stability. The Aquila came with a 54 on top and I've never had such a stable guitar in terms of tuning. Wooliness and muddyiness has gone and chords are way more articulate. The Mayones Velvetrone pickups feel great too. Just need to tweak the setup a little and try a slightly thicker gauge. I'm recording takes way quicker due to less tuning!

Cheeky monitor upgrade! Bit late to the @kii_audio_gmbh party but I havn't heard anything like them before. I've got the sub/lows incredibly flat within 2dB. All the analytical detail but also stupidly immersive for general listening.
