Before the year comes to a close, we want to share something special ✨
In 2025, APostLab turned 15. To mark this milestone, we created 15 Years 15 Stories, a campaign celebrating the voices of our community. Fifteen interviews with participants, trainers, and mentors who shared their time, knowledge, and passion and helped shape APostLab over the years.

Look back at @apostlab Tallinn days few weeks ago - ending this journey has been bittersweet as we would have happily went on for another week or two!
Thank you @estonianfilminstitute for your hospitality: coming back to our beloved Tallinn (in which we've both been regularly filming) felt like coming home. Diving deeper into deliverables, color grading, archiving and VFX (amongs other topics) were a fantastic end to the intense 7 days. And collaborating with with @tallinnblacknightsff on the final night was a cherry on top!
As there aren't too many post production workshops around, having a chance to make this edition of APL a reality has been a dream come true to us. We're humbly and deeply thanking everyone involved, especially the core team from APL - Neeltje, Niko, Mauricio and Monse, with whom we've been lucky to work with since this Spring. Hope our paths cross again!

✨🎬 It’s a wrap! 🎬✨
We’ve just wrapped up the 16th edition of our annual workshop, and what and inspiring week it’s been!
We welcomed more than 19 nationalities among our trainers and participants, including 10 fantastic producers and 15 dedicated post-production supervisors.
Split between Helsinki and Tallinn, the program included sessions on budgeting, scheduling, sound, music, VFX, sustainability, AI, colour, and much more.
A heartfelt thank you to the Finnish Film Foundation, Estonian Film Institute, Walk & Talk Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival | PĂ–FF Storyline VFX Helsinki Post Control Helsinki Creative Europe MEDIA, and to everybody who helped make this edition happen! THANK YOU!

We partnered up with @apostlab to host their 16th Annual Workshop in Helsinki and Tallinn - splitting it to two countries for the first time! It's been a long process and we're quite sure no one was as thrilled as we were when the participants and trainers finally arrived last week.
Coordinating the arrangements and managing the floor of this acclaimed workshop has also given us a better glimpse of post production offering brilliant lectures by - only to mention few - Niko Remus, Neeltje van der Heijden and Miga Bär. We're very thankful to our local collaboration partners @postcontrolhelsinki@vfxhelsinki and @storylinestudios.no@angelfilms.fi - as well as local funders @elokuvasaatio and @estonianfilminstitute for this fantastic opportunity to our Nordic & Baltic film industries!

✨ Applications are now open for the next edition of the APostLab Mentorship Program 2026 ✨
Starting in January 2026, this year-long online program offers personalized guidance and professional development for post-production supervisors, coordinators, producers, and other professionals working in post-production.
Participants take part in monthly one-on-one sessions and group meetings led by experienced post-production supervisors. The mentorship helps participants strengthen their technical and managerial skills, build confidence, and take the next step in their careers.
