The comic Gentrivacation is finally in the hands, straight from the land of William Blake, published by Breakdown Press
@breakdownpress the acclaimed publishing house that has delivered some of the most beautiful fantasies by artists with their most peculiar motivations. It's more than an honor that this tale from the tropical world is among their ranks. The printing quality is unparalleled, the brush strokes feel clear, to the touch it’s a smooth fruit of bright colors and the paper a trapped scroll in the sands of time. Judging by the title "Gentrivacation" I probably know what you're thinking: "It's part of the woke agenda," but well, the subject matter, like all the vicissitudes of today's world, is a good pretext for making comics; I think everything is a good pretext for making comics and narrate the joy of being alive in this time, since new generations (and I) need to learn to be punks; as well as look at the world outside, which is where the "content" is elusive, and escape a little from the unease that comes from offering opinion instead the revealing, risky creativity.
