The front is the first thing your guests see.
It sets the expectation before they ever walk inside.
If the outside feels overlooked, people subconsciously assume the inside will be the same.
Limiting your design to only the interior is a mistake.

Just now getting around to posting about the baby shower we hosted this past weekend for our sweet daughter-in-law and son as they get ready to welcome our grandson 🤍
Every little detail was planned with so much love, from the décor, to the drinks, to the tiniest touches that made the day feel special. So much thought, prayer, and intention went into celebrating this new life and this beautiful season they’re stepping into.
My heart is so full watching my baby have a baby. We cannot wait to meet baby Amir 💙✨
febuary 7th we held not just a service for my mom but a celebration just as she would have done for anyone else. our family knew immediately it wouldn’t be just any celebration of life but a full “shawna collins event” because that was what she loved to do. in the week leading up to her service i cannot begin the explain the outpouring of love and help we received in order to do this. i want to express how grateful i am to the people who lifted us up and stepped in without us even asking.
first and foremost, @lakewoodchurch where my mom worked, volunteered and attended for more than 20 years. this is my home church and my family and the way they have surrounded us during this time could never be repaid. ive grown up in lakewood my whole life and i always knew that they would show up for me when i needed it and they did so in such a huge way. being able to honor my mom and have her service in the place she loved more than anything was so special. 🤍
after my moms service we had a reception that we wanted to make sure had my moms presence all over it. we were only able to do that because of all of the vendors my mom has worked with over the years. my mom didn’t have surface level relationships, she had deep and meaningful relationships with the people in her life whether it was in passing or not. every vendor working behind the scenes to help make my mothers reception perfect meant so much to me and my family. @studio.halfmoon & @bri_blanker knew exactly what needed to be done and created the most beautiful reception with every detail so personal. im forever grateful for you both.
a drink station with her favorite drinks, her favorite candys, her favorite flowers and florist/best friend Amanda at @houstoneventsflorals , @littlewordsproject bracelets & so many more details i will cherish forever. it truly felt as if my mom hand picked and designed it all.
looking back on this day i honestly can’t believe i even made it through but its because of people surrounding us.
