Following the success of the inaugural APF Fest in September last year, we’re doing it again in 2026.
On 12th September, we’re back at Rebellion Manchester for another full-scale celebration of all things APF.
Joining us this year are Gandalf The Green, The Brothers Keg, A Horse Called War, Tides of Sulfur, Nxmad, Trevors Head, Praetorian and our alumni Desert Storm.
We’ll also be hosting a special listening party for the new Spider Kitten album, which you’ll get to hear before it comes out, through that monstrous Rebellion PA.
Promoted by Uprising Promotions and Rebellion Manchester in association with APF Records, this is a night dedicated to the label: a showcase of our kind of heavy.

APF Records is an independent record label based in Salford, United Kingdom, with 110 releases to its name as of September 2025.
Founded in May 2017 out of the UK’s sludge, stoner, and doom scene, APF has since grown into a home for the full spectrum of heavy and alternative sounds. From colossal riffs and monolithic sludge to hypnotic doom, abrasive noise rock, and music that defies easy categorisation yet remains undeniably heavy, the label champions artists who push boundaries while refusing to compromise.
At its heart APF is a community – a family of bands, friends, and collaborators bound together by a shared love of adventurous heavy music and the DIY spirit of the UK scene.
Today we've released a new Bandcamp compilation – fittingly titled Uneasy Listening – pulling together 30 bands that have released music through APF since day one. It’s a weird and wonderful collection that veers from the punishing to the unclassifiable, reflecting a catalogue with no single theme beyond a love for the loud, the strange, and the uncompromising.

Recorded by Joe Clayton at No Studio with mastering by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege, it looks beautiful and will sound wonderfully horrible on transparent yellow and black marbled vinyl. "Hunter in the Veil draws on mythic symbolism and elemental imagery to explore cycles of power, death, and renewal. A graceful but menacing feminine presence, the Wolfess evoked in the track exists between worlds as an archetypal force.
Death and transformation are portrayed as sacred processes rather than endings, and the sombre outro expresses how our bodily ash returns to the soil and our memories feed rebirth."
The track features the stunning cello of longtime collabroator and friend @luke.clemenger .
