She’s opened for international names such as Suggahunny and Bronka, building a reputation as the DJ you call when you want the dancefloor locked in. And yes — she sings too. Because range matters. Didn’t expect to still get so much love from everyone after yesterday’s throwback post 😭🫶🏼. But also didn’t mean to false alarm anyone!! It was a throwbackkk meant to give love to everyone who was part of that special day last year. [TLDR; We’ve been engaged a year!! :’)] Continuing the backlog of posts and this one completes the grid for the big proposal. ❤️‍🔥 So many people to thank for helping make it happen but a huge shout has to go to @elainevllnv for animating this beautifully!! Back when we were dating, @apetalkstrash drew this mini storybook about “two best friends” for a school project, a story that spoke of exploring the world, but ending up finding comfort and love right back at home. It was a story that anchored the years that followed: of us venturing out to uncharted waters, diving deep into unfamiliar, challenging situations and eventually riding the waves that is life. Those waves led us to the shores of La Union — a place close to our hearts, and a place that shaped the last few years: where our little baby of @secret.pals was incubated and birthed to, and where friends unknown before have become family, and where family have become ride or dies for life. And amidst and amongst all that — it’s coming home to you, @apetalkstrash that makes this wild ride well worth it. In any day and in every way, I’ll always choose you. Plenty of backlogged unposted drafts and this first one couldn’t be any more important; celebrating one year engaged!!! This time last year against a perfect sunset in La Union, we went from being gfbf to being engaged and it’s been a whole year of love ever since. Remembering that very moment you said yes, the unassumingly perfect crew of pals and loved ones around us in that special moment, the seafood feast right after, and that all so special Toyo dinner—5 years back since that first chance seating. Sending our biggest love to everyone who were there, who helped make this happen, and to everyone who’s been rooting for us since day one. We won’t be where we are without your love, and we hope to send that love right back. One year on and here’s to a lifetime of yeses and love, @apetalkstrash . Last of the unreleased archives from last year and it’s no other than our third anniversary party, Sunday Tambay 2025–through the eyes of our homie, @deejfabian . Couldn’t have made it up; vibes were unmatched, and it was honestly heartening to see so much love going around. It’s why we do what we do, and what keeps us going. Another year passes and pinch us ‘cause we still can’t believe we get to keep doing what we’re doing—building this little community since 2022 and watching it grow into something that feels like home and so much more. Been nothing short of a dream working with so many talented pals from back home; bridging that SG x PH link, and sharing that love with everyone here. Filipino talent, local crowds, and a community that keeps showing up with open hearts. Four years in and we’ve so much more to give all you pals. We’re only just getting started and can’t wait to bring more of the +63 here–not just through music, but through food, film, art, comedy, and everything in between. Best believe this was us two years ago—on the decks together for the first time, playing our first actual set at @groovetop ’s Manila Takeover. Not pictured: the nerves, the quiet panic before stepping up, the feeling of planning a set yet having no idea where it might take us. Just two pals figuring things out with one small, fearless yes—the same heart that’s carried us through this wild curious thing called Secret Pals. Trusting the music we loved, and seeing where it might lead. Last night, on the way to The Fields, we met a fellow wonder-er who reminded us of something simple but true: when you take a chance, you never really know what might unfold—who you’ll meet, what moments will find you, or how your world might quietly shift. And when it manifests, it really does feel like magic. Big love to @amanda_scully and @sophwee for taking that first chance on us–for trusting us on that day, for every moment that came after (swipe through!!!), and especially for repping Groovetop here at Wonderfruit tonight. We wouldn’t have grown the way we did without you both. You know how much we love you both!!! Thank u is not enough. 🥹🫶🏼 And tonight, we play a festival for the first time—no less than @wonderfruit , celebrating a decade of wonder. A place we dreamed of for years, finally experienced for the first time last year…and now, somehow, we get to give it back to those same fields. Closing the SOT stage with @djnashd and @yyyyya5th , representing SG and carrying that Groovetop spirit all the way from 12:30 to 5AM. We’re bringing that Secret Pals heat you all know and love. Because it’s Thanksgiving, here’s a little thank u post, a lookback at 2025; a year in film, a year in moments, a year made by the pals who showed up in ways big and small. 2025 wasn’t just a run of shows for us. It was the quiet, unexpected magic in between: the moments between the fun, and chaos, the last-minute favours, the “y’all okay?” msgs, the late night debriefs, the borrowed USBs/headphones/portable chargers, the “see you again soon”s, warm hellos, long goodbyes and the unexpected hugs that held more than they let on. And somewhere along the way, strangers turned into friends, friends turned into family, and this little community started holding each other together–on dancefloors, in backrooms, at 3AM suppers, and in all the spaces where trust grew without us even noticing. To every artist who said yes, every collective who believed in us, every partner who opened doors–thank you. And to every pal who danced, supported, shared, cheered, or simply stood in the room with us…you’re the reason all of this feels like home. A native New Yorker, Fred P came up during the golden era of clubs like Red Zone and Sound Factory, which heavily influenced the introspective qualities that define his sound. ㅤ Now based in Berlin, Fred P's DJ sets mixes 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗺𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀.
