These are some tracks I’ve been tinkering with this past year. Maybe not as polished as the previous release, but I’m happy with them this way and would like to move on to the next thing. Sometimes that’s how it works.
The tunes were written and recorded between March and August of 2025, have been mixed and remixed over and over since. First one was an attempt to start doing genre-specific instrumentals for an album I envisioned being titled “Songs for Pictures”, but then I quickly pivoted to traditional songs with lyrics, which is what the other two tracks are.
This is not a high-concept thing, it’s just three tunes that are pretty cool, but will ultimately fade into the background of the millions upon millions of tunes that get released every day.
Hello Anthropocene, a 9-song LP, is out now on all streaming platforms! This one took a bit of time—starting in late 2023 and wrapping up in the fall of 2025–and was helped immensely by two very talented individuals—Jay Alton ( @jayalton ) and Aaron Bishara ( @abprime )—to whom I owe many many thanks!
All tracks are somewhat autobiographical, mining the subconscious, contemplating the present, getting nostalgic for the past. I appreciate any time taken to give it a spin. Thanks for listening, sharing, following!
