Een kleine ode aan de mislukking 👎👍 Lana vroeg ons drie vitrine-kaders te maken voor haar collectie pionnetjes die de selectie niet haalden, maar zo wel in de spotlight kwamen✨♟️
GRAND OPENING!! JUNE 14th 16:00-20:00. I’m organizing the first solo exhibition of my good friend @a_random_painter in The Hague! Paolo and me go way back with tattooing and guesting. I was lucky that he sent me one of his paintings as a gift for my new born son. Since that moment I know I had to return the favor and organize something special. And special it’s gonna be! @bodegon_thehague will host over 20 paintings from Paolo. June 14th will be the date and the doors go open at 16:00. There will be drinks and food served by the Bodegon. @any_frame will also participate and showcase what can be possible with the framework for these colorful paintings. See you all there! Xxx Thomas

Our beloved Sophie is leaving onto big new (ad)ventures and we wanted to make sure she’ll remember the things she did not want to forget 🧠🔍 So, we framed her some of the many notes she wrote in the Any Frame workshop over the (2!) years. ✏️💛 + some extra from the team :)

In other news 🗞️ — every so often someone asks us to frame a newspaper (in full or taken apart) ✂️ which carries an article close to their heart. Here’s our little collection of recent requests, showcasing a dying medium now well preserved ! >> 📰 🖼️
Nu in de collectie van het Haags historisch museum, en tevens op zaal: 50 (!) door ons ingelijste foto’s van fotograaf Frederick Linck (1942-2020) — wie in de jaren ’70 het verval van de Haagse binnenstad vastlegde. Daarbij richtte hij zijn lens vooral op de (on)gewone mensen uit de buurt, die er altijd al woonde of er juist een nieuw thuis vonden.
De foto’s in de go-to aluminium lijsten van Linck zijn in het @haagshistorischmuseum te zien tot 28 januari. Ga het zien !! 💚💛

Alweer een (jubileum)jaartje geleden vroeg het Any Frame team de getalenteerde Lorena van Bunningen een verstilling te maken in de drukte van onze werkplaats. Dat leidde tot een schitterende serie foto’s waarvan we er eentje ingelijst hebben — èn hóé : met een door @boox.space handgemaakt natuur-linnen bekleed passepartout + verdieping. En daaromheen een schuurpapier-oranje kersen lijst. Veertigmaal dank lieve Lorena, Nic, Roos, Sophie & Anna ✨🧡
