Brighton, May 2025.
I love Brighton, it’s been years since I’ve visited this awesome place. So whilst I was in town for the “Pier Pressure” art show I had a little bit of spare time to do a little ANXTI miniature drop. There’s now a couple of ANXTIs just waiting to be found down by the pier and in the lanes! Happy hunting!
ANXTI x @route_one : It’s Okay not to be Okay.
For World Mental Health Day this year I worked with the wonderful Route One Skate shop team to produce this collection. 100% of the profits are going to @thebenraemersfoundation a Mental Health charity here in the UK.
I am still in a bit of a state of awe and shock that this project is now out in the world. Getting the opportunity to design a skateboard in particular really has been a dream come true and one of the best experiences I’ve ever had as an artist.
Skateboarding changed my life forever in countless ways when I first discovered it as a child. So if you’d told an extremely anxious 16 year old me that one day something I had drawn would make it onto a deck, I honestly wouldn’t have believed you.
I have been ordering skateboards, clothes, skate videos, you name it, I probably bought it, from Route One since the mail order days. I remember the excitement when a new Route One catalogue would arrive through my letter box and I’d spend hours staring at all the board graphics and new shoes. So getting to work with them really has been an incredible experience and one I shan’t ever forget. Can I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Route One but especially Hannah, Tim, Lucy and Nick for all their efforts, thoughts and feedback to bring this collection to life.
Also a HUGE thank you to everyone that has bought something from the collection. You’re support means Route One and I can support a charity doing fantastic work in the world and you’ve made a shite (nearly) middle aged old skateboarder ever so happy.

I got some amazing news this afternoon that really has made my entire weekend. The guys at @upfest have informed me that my painting from this years festival has been sold. I can’t quite believe it! I really wasn’t expecting that whatsoever. So whoever has purchased the piece, thank you so much ! I hope you enjoy it.
Thanks once again to @upfest for having me and for topping off what really has been one of the best experiences I’ve had this year. 💙😊

Fatherhood. 1 year on.
Around this time last year I drew a series of pieces about the first few months of parenthood. Looking back at those illustrations I was reminded of that wonderful “baby bubble” time I experienced as a first time Dad.
That got me thinking about all sorts of moments that have happened this past year. So I dusted off my iPad and got to work on a new series of pieces about anxious moments and anecdotes from my first year of being a father. I’ll be posting them over the next few days/weeks.
This one is just about playtime. Prior to their arrival I think I had forgotten about what it is to just stop and spontaneously play. One thing having a child has done for me, is they have given me a lot more reason to just exist in the moment. I used to spend so much time worrying about future work, getting life admin done and even putting unnecessary pressure to create.
Now I try and focus on just what needs to be done today and all those other bits and pieces can wait, because right now my child wants to play with me and that’s not going to last forever.
I just wanted to a take a moment to say a big thank you to all of you who’ve purchased something from shop this year. Thanks to your generosity I’ve just been able to donate £20 to @calmzone a wonderful charity supporting people here in the UK with their mental health.
The bulk of those sales came from my new book “Torn” so thank you for supporting that project.
