I met Anuya when we were 16. We both thought our name was very unique, but then on our first day of college, whom do we run into? That's right. Each other.
I have since then realised that even though our name is not unique, Anuya is very, very unique.
She's warm, she's loving, she's... clean. (We used to joke about how her dream party theme is BYOH. Bring your own... Harpic. Pranav, I'm told that it's your dream party theme too. Clearly you are two peas in a spotless pod.)
She's talented, she's beautiful, she's vivacious. No party of mine is complete without her belting Papa Kehte Hai on the guitar.
Are you sensing a "party" theme to our lives? That's just how it is with her around. Every moment, a celebration.
She's my parents' other daughter, my husband's favourite friend-in-law, and my favourite person. I mean, my husband is also my favorite person, but I see myself turning 80 and dancing to Le Gayi Le Gayi with her, while our dentures fly off. Let's see
@girishnarayandass match THAT.
Pranav, we're very protective of Anuya, so well done on winning us over by being so patient, kind and big-hearted. And welcome to the madness that is this particular cohort of humans that Anuya has put together. Warning: we never run out of one-liners.
Congratulations to both of you on starting this journey together. May all you dream of come true. May every good thing come to pass. May you never run out of Harpic.
Love you both immensely,
Other Anuya
