Another chaotic year at m for mothland! So stoked to be doing projections along side the lighting homie @gab.pasailleurs ! Gonna be a wild night! Triple duty : Projections all night, drums and projections for my bro from another @boutique.feelings as well as head banging and light flashing with @duchesssays !
Anthony Piazza builds live visuals that don’t sit quietly in the background—they react, distort, and misbehave in real time. His setup blends audio-reactive effects, video feedback from live cameras, triggered clips, and hands-on manipulation, all stitched together with the precision of someone who knows exactly when to break the rules. He also brings rotoscoping into the mix, turning everyday footage into animation that swings between the surreal and the strangely familiar. With projection mapping, he adapts visuals to spaces like a tailor fitting a suit—except the suit is made of light.
Piazza has lent his visual brain to artists like Cadence Weapon, METZ, TEKE::TEKE, Elephant Stone, and Annie-Claude Deschênes (Duchess Says), and has shown his work at festivals including SXSW, M for Montreal, Winnipeg Folk Fest, FME, and Up Here.
