Another one! Opening Reception for 𝓞𝓯𝓯 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓦𝓪𝓵𝓵 is Friday, April 24, 2026, from 4-6PM. This is an exhibition at PASC Southgate Gallery featuring artists from all three PASC studios and highlighting works from across the PASC community. Bright and colorful artworks are shown throughout the gallery and activate an immersive physical sensation as if the images are popping off the wall. In this exhibition, color and tone suggest a shift in the season, highlighting the return of colors and the reemergence of animals. PASC receives most of its funding from Medicaid, which does two things, it pays for our program and allows our artists to use Medicaid Service Dollars to pay for PASC, with no out of pocket costs. Without PASC most of these talented artists would have no access for an art studio, supplies or support. Trump and the republican party are proposing $880 billion in cuts largely to Medicaid to help cover the cost of $4.5 trillion in tax breaks that will mostly benefit the wealthy. This will have devastating consequences to people with disabilities and many others. Medicaid supports not only PASC but thousands of programs for people with disabilities, job placement programs, training programs, transportation services, housing, food, healthcare, and daily living supports. Cuts to Medicaid will jeopardize thousands of vital services, as well as the well-being, health, independence, and stability of people with disabilities, seniors, and others who rely on these resources.
