This is going to be a hot topic- what’s a cinema camera? What kind of work are you shooting for and where do you want to be. Real fact of the matter is there’s no bad modern cameras- just like there’s no bad lenses. The choice is what do you need for the project you want to create. It’s no surprise that we focus too much on the camera making the spot- it doesn’t. So why do you need a brand new, state of the art technology for your corporate talking head video? 😂
A wise man told me you can never “save money” - there’s no rescue operation for your cash- but you can SPEND LESS, and allocate those funds to something that matters more and spend more time on the creative that’s gonna get you recognized.
I’d love to hear people’s comments on this, especially if they have bought new cameras and why was worth it or if they’ve bought used recently and they’re happy or unhappy.
All of my current cameras the company purchased used- and it bails me out of almost every project I take on.
We had to cram in so many locations in such a tight time window in the @cfmoto_usa Ibex 450 US launch. The spot really questioned what an entry level ADV can do, it’s an extremely fun bike. I loved creating the story and adding a touch to the ever-growing adventure segment. Great job @rally_studios_official team. Side note- I really put @_kf114_ through it on this spot - great work man
Sometimes you need to be the wizard because you ran out of talent budget but already put money down on the wizard wardrobe and hair and makeup. Made for some great bts 😂
One thing I love about two wheel mobility is the accessibility! The @cfmoto_usa Papio is made for people who are Moto curious. You don’t need a $30k super bike to have fun and pound for pound - mini-motos provide an endless amount of smiles.
GTDS: The Prep Station
I’ve seen so many new shooter /dp / directors prepping on their desk or coffee table-> let make your station more secure. Having a small hi-hat secured to a workstation will be much safer for your equipment. Plus this is a small investment with a huge life improvement that you’ll take through whole career. If you have any questions about the build or products put it in the comments!
Wheelie on bridges brought to you by @parker.pitman and @cfmoto_usa 675 NK. I actually got a chance to ride this bike- it rides great such a great option in the middle weight segment. Still one of my favorite garage lighting setups from @dptaplin and the team in Portland.
