For Stacey Moyers and her husband Marty, Antarctica had been a dream ever since their dear friends returned from an Antarctica21 expedition in 2011.
"For years, we waited for the right time. Looking ahead at his school schedule a few years out, we set our sights on December 2024. And the rest is history! Our visit to Antarctica completed our quest to visit all seven continents."
The best adventures are worth waiting for, especially when you share them with someone you love.

What's it like to be a photographer in Antarctica? We asked Jeff Reynolds, (@jkr_photo ), and here’s what he said.
"It's a dream come true, being able to photograph the wildlife, the landscapes... being here in general."
When the most remote continent on Earth is your studio, every frame tells a story worth sharing.
🎥 Sound on.

Orcas are among the most intelligent and powerful hunters in the ocean, and spotting one in Antarctica is a treat. 🇦🇶
🐋 Apex predators with no natural enemies in Antarctic waters.
🐋 They hunt seals, penguins, fish, and even large whales.
🐋 Some practice wave-washing, swimming in coordination to create waves that sweep seals off floating ice.
🐋 A thick layer of blubber keeps them insulated in near-freezing temperatures, and some can even break through thin ice to breathe.

Explorers House is an exclusive facility in Punta Arenas where our team helps travelers prepare for their expedition. This private space, purpose-designed for Antarctica21 guests, brings together the spirit of discovery, history, Antarctic community, and sustainability under one roof.
As part of our commitment to sustainable travel, Explorers House integrates renewable energy through solar panels, which generate electricity and heat, reduce our footprint, and harness locally produced energy. We also collect rainwater for use in the restrooms, reducing reliance on the external water supply and contributing to freshwater conservation.
