Made a quick trip up to Kiwi Flat hut so @rionabray could have a chance to see the entrance to the Waitaha’s Morgan Gorge before they go through with any fast-tracked hydroscheme. Great chance to play with a drone and get a Birds Eye view of this phenomenal place. One of my favourite landscapes in New Zealand. More photos to come.

This has got to be one of my favorite photos I’ve taken all year. Shooting with only a 50mm prime lens has been tricky learning, but being able to capture the moon and the dying sunset in the same shot off the Southeast coast of Greenland made it so worth it. Also the evening atmosphere celebrating @ron_cliffords birthday and hanging out with @agus_biaso and @whyistheiceblue will make this memory unforgettable 🙌🏻

We had a super special experience the other day just south of the Lemaire Channel. Whilst kayaking we came across an adult female Leopard Seal on ice. After slowly making our way around the ice we realized the momma was not alone. My whole group did a great job of staying quiet and we were able to just sit and watch this incredible pair. Soon it started to snow and the pup woke up wanting some more food. We watched in stunned silence as we watched one of natures miracles take place in front of us.

A little snapshot from several hours of a never ending sunset. I nearly burned my eyes out starring straight into the sun through the telephoto lens trying to capture the Humpbacks blowing their spouts in front of the suns reflection. The December midnight sun is one of the world’s many wonders.

The duel of the Giant Petrels; we entered the lagoon behind the penguin colony in gold Harbour and witnessed 100’s of Giant Petrels scrambling over food in the water. The fights that broke out with the great glacier face in the background was something else.
