Earlier this week at ‘A King’s Trust Celebration’, The King and Queen traded places with @AntAndDec for a moment on stage to celebrate the charity’s 50th anniversary.
His Majesty began the charity, as Prince of Wales, in 1976 with the aim of improving the lives of disadvantaged young people in the UK. Since then, The @KingsTrust has supported over 1.3 million young people in the UK – and even more across the world with @KingsTrustInternational .
Ant and Dec have supported The Trust for 25 years, partnering with the charity to help the next generation develop skills for the media industry and find jobs and training opportunities.
We had a fantastic afternoon at Buckingham Palace celebrating 50 years of @KingsTrust ! 👑 It was an absolute honour to present His Majesty The King with a 50th anniversary yearbook. We’ve seen firsthand the difference The Trust makes to young people right across the UK through courses like our Making It In Media programme. Here’s to the next 50! ✨ #KingsTrust50
