Found a black-and-white roll from last year’s Lisbon trip.
My color roll got stuck in the camera, so B&W was all I had left. At the time I was a little bummed — Lisbon is such a colorful city and I thought I’d lost its vibrancy.
But somehow, the monochrome frames tell their own story.

What a trip with the BLOS. We went from Soviet-themed cities like Almaty & Tashkent to Silk Road towns like Samarkand & Bukhara, with a three-day trekking ride in between. The only thing that stayed consistent throughout the whole trip… was plov.
I took this first photo on NYE while my friend Phams was visiting Shanghai, and somehow it quietly set the tone for my 2025.
2025 has been a year of steady, meaningful growth. I wrapped up two major work projects, and for the first time, Beijing truly started to feel like home — not just a place I live, but a place I belong. I also kept molding mud, letting a hobby grow from bamboo cups into psychedelic masks.
Meanwhile, Fountain turned two and continued to grow — huge thanks to all the artists who came through, played, and shared their talents.
I traveled across landscapes and emotions, from the seaside calm of San Sebastián to the almost unreal stillness of Tibet. Along the way, I witnessed friends getting married, celebrating birthdays, and playing gigs — moments both big and beautifully ordinary.
The last photo was taken in the hills of Tibet, as I jumped, trying to reach heaven. If this year taught me anything, it’s this: the party is definitely NOT over.
Hugo @capablancas drifts through the underground like a cosmic wanderer — producer, DJ, rebel, and lifelong “eternal dilettante.” From Panorama Bar to Mitsuki, he’s shared booths with legends while keeping that unmistakable IYKYK glow.
