Born in Sicily, Oscar Piccolo had a roaming childhood, moving between Ghana, Turkey, Egypt, and Libya. Now based in East London, he dabbles in loads of different creative disciplines. Art direction, set design, interiors and—most notably—his signature range of squiggly lights, named ‘Lampada Cappello,’ which you’ve probably seen online or in the home of someone with great taste. As Oscar says, “I was always encouraged to explore and make, and that’s definitely stayed with me.” Read the full interview at anotheraspect.org

A glimpse into our portrait with Highsnobiety, reflecting our approach to building a brand, understated, sometimes called “boring”, yet essential.. An infinite thanks to @toombarker for the words and @johannahvidtved for the portraits.
Made up of Andrea Thuesen and Vilhelm Strange, Snuggle is a Copenhagen-based duo. Music that drifts—softly melancholic, unhurried, and reflective. The kind that finds its place in passing moments: a view from a window, a walk taken slowly, a change in light. They have been described as slacker pop, as modern shoegaze. What remains is a sound that is raw, melodic, and quietly assured—marking them as part of a new wave emerging from Denmark’s ever-evolving music scene.

This is where Another Aspect is built, at the back of our store, turned studio, turned clubhouse here in Copenhagen. A space shaped over time, quietly evolving. Always familiar, yet never quite the same. Here, we return to the same forms again and again. Not to reinvent, but to reconsider. To adjust, refine, and allow each piece to find its place in the present.
We work with fabrics chosen for their integrity and character. Doing less, where possible. Letting the material speak, guiding the outcome rather than forcing it. It is a continuous process of small decisions, of restraint, of knowing when something is enough. And then moving forward, as always.

Turnstile, King Krule, Tyler, The Creator, Toro y Moi, FKA Twigs, … Are we just naming names now for our dream festival line-up? Well, yes, but what these legends also have in common other than being in heavy rotation at the office is a man named Nick Dierl. He’s the co-founder of Orienteer, a PR company, and – as you can tell – it’s going pretty well. Other than being an industry heavyweight, Nick’s also a thoroughly sweet guy and father. On a recent Monday, we called him up in Los Angeles to ask some of the biggest questions in life, like for instance: Do you booze on a business lunch? Or: How’s it like working with Tyler (yeah, we’re on first names)? Read the full interview online at anotheraspect.org
