For today’s final #LookBehindTheBook we are getting the inside scoop of what went into the character design process for the main character Mai in The Healer and the Phoenix! 🤩 “There were plenty of concepts for Mai, but special attention was given to the clothes. It was meant to be the fusion of Vietnamese traditional attire with casual modern clothes. I found it challenging yet incredibly fun to make it look believable and a comfortable set of clothes for a sporty kid like Mai.” — Quynh Anh Nguyen We hope you enjoyed this behind the scenes look. Pick up The Healer and the Phoenix from your local indie bookstore today!💛
