A very exciting piece of professional and personal news from me đź’«.
Love Vegetables, my first (I hope there will be more!) cookbook, is being published on April 4th this year. I'm incredibly proud and excited to start talking about it more loudly, having up to now - to borrow a food analogy - only dropped a few breadcrumbs about it.
The book is as beautiful as I think it is because of a super talented team that I was lucky enough to work with on it.
@liznmax +
@haahaphotography are great friends and incredible photographers and have made my food and the vegetables on the pages look magnificent;
@smallislandbigcity 's illustrations are throughout the chapters - Jess, you're the best.
@kempkitchen &
@pasettiandboote cooking the recipes with me on the shoot days - thank you both for your eyes for detail and 🔪 skills.
@davidhalenmon thank you for some beautiful vegetables all the way from Anglesey to Bristol.
@charles_dowding - thank you for such model veg too, and for your support.
@whitelionpublishing , thank you for publishing me, I can't wait to see Love Vegetables out in the world.
Over the next couple of months, I'll be sharing a selection of BTS from the shoots; recipe reels taken from the book and lots of the usual stuff alongside.
But now, for some important stuff. What's the book about? As you probably know if you've been following me, I'm a vegetable super - fan. It's really about how I cook at home- opening the fridge to see what vegetables look great to eat today, and how I can adapt a recipe to suit a bundle of broad beans instead of a courgette, thus incidentally saving a shopping trip and some ÂŁÂŁ in the process. Each chapter is divided into vegetable categories to encourage you to adapt recipes in that chapter to suit what vegetables you might have in the house (or veg box, or are drawn to in the shops).
Love Vegetables is available to pre-order now (the link is in my bio), and I'd be very grateful if you'd support me by pre-ordering. Apparently the number of books sold before the publication date can have a big impact on how many books each retailer orders/displays and therefore on the overall visibility of a new book in a crowded market. TYSM!
