@anna.in.progress is where Iām sharing my wellness journey.
Over the past 3 months, I started opening up here about my routine, including a 75-day challenge that completely changed the way I exercise, helped me build a new routine, and supported my weight-loss maintenance.
This journey actually started last year, and Iām doing it for myself.
Why a new Instagram? I realized my old account had people from 12 years ago, and not everyone was here for this chapter of my life. It didnāt feel like the right space for the content I wanted to share. Even though Iāll continue posting here, this new space is also for the other parts of my life.
So if you want to follow more of my journey losing 40 kg over the last year, Iāll be sharing everything there. š
Weekend recap: Started this year with one goal: just move more. My first step three months ago? A puppy yoga class where I definitely prioritized the puppies over the poses! š¶š§āāļø
Fast forward to today, and Iām proud to say fitness has officially become a part of my routine. Went back to @pawsandpose.ca for another round, and while Iām much better at the yoga part now, Iām still 100% here for the cuties. (Sorry to the instructors, I really tried to focus, but the puppies win every time)
Be honest, if you were at puppy yoga, whatās your main motivation?
Thinking about my next exercise challengeā¦
Ready to push myself again and try something new.
Any ideas? š
On a hold while I wait for my hand to get better, but staying positive and ready to come back to exercise this week. āØ
Since the beginning of February, I decided to turn my life upside down.
I had already been on a long journey of losing weight, but after moving to Canada, I realized something important: It wasnāt about diets, pills, or any kind of miracle. What I was truly missing was movement.
So I challenged myself: 75 days to figure it out on my own.
My goal was simple: Exercise at least 3 times a week, walk more instead of relying on transportation, take the stairs whenever I could, and do at least a few minutes of movement every single day.
Now that those 75 days are done, I can honestly say things have changed.
I found exercises I actually enjoy. I learned what doesnāt work for me. But most importantly, I built a routine.
Now I miss moving my body. Now I know that when Iām not motivated, I shouldnāt overthink. I should just go.
These last two and a half months gave me so much more than physical changes. I feel more energetic, more confident, and more connected to myself.
If thereās one thing Iād say: find what you enjoy, try new things, surprise yourself. You donāt need to wait for Monday, or for January to start a goal.
Itās always the right time to start.
