🌸🌼🌸Instead of using Chat for therapy, I tried using it for fixing my photos instead of my problems.
Rather of my usual workflow, I edited an entire image inside ChatGPT using the
@Photoshop extension. No app switching, just ideas and prompts.
In the slides: I asked Chat to mix up the flower colors, warm up the subject, and even generatively remove horizon distractions to clean up the composition. Last photo is the original and first photo is the output. Basically you can art-direct with sentences.
Once I uploaded the yellow flower image and gave short instructions, I could tweak everything with sliders directly in Chat. So it wasn’t just “AI, do your thing,” it was more like “AI, let’s collaborate.”
I would not (ever😂) replace a pro workflow with this, but it’s a fun way to sketch ideas, test looks, and explore directions quickly. And it’s okay to still like the initial version more, you can just play.Think of it as concepting, not a final export. AI can support the process, but the human eye and touch are still the secret sauce.
If you want to try it:
• Go to “Apps” in ChatGPT
• Select Photoshop
• Connect it + accept terms
• Head back to chat, tag
@Photoshop , upload an image, and start prompting
Photoshop for ChatGPT brings Photoshop’s editing tools directly into your conversation, so you can transform and refine images with simple prompts and fine-tune controls all in one place.
It’s available even on the free plan, so go make something weird or beautiful💅
