April showers bring May flowers 🌷🪻🍡🌹🍵🌻 its been a bit since ive taken photos of my work and I miss it. I think sometimes with all thats going on its harder to take pause for those joyful moments. We took a little trip to LA to get some of my favorite treats from Little Tokyo and these sweets had the childhood memories going. Enjoying Children's Day, eating fresh mochi, making a origami samurai helmet, the nostalgia was going. Its nice to take a break.

My whole family (including extended family) are crafts people. Woodworkers, seamstress, ceramics artist e.c.t. we all rely on our hands for our craft. My partner and I dont have kids but recently my partners grandma made us a baby blanket because her hands were so effected by arthritis she was worried she would be able to make us one in the future. The thought of loosing mobility in your hands so much so that you would have to give up the things you love is pretty heart breaking and its why I'm joining the Arthritis Foundation Green Heart Fridays agian this year.
All May ill be taking part of Green Heart Friday which is a nationwide effort by the Arthritis Foundation to shine a light on Arthritis Awareness Monthand I’m proud to be a part of it.
Each Friday, I’m teaming up with local artists and joining the global #FreeArtFriday movement to drop art pieces in cities across the country. These works of art are free for anyone to find and take home and they’re a way to start conversations about arthritis, the number one cause of disability in the U.S.
